Description
Marketing Alliance Group (MAG) Information Technology (IT) Technical Services has an opening for an Entry-Level IT Professional. This support position assists computer users with desktop hardware and software computing issues. Responsibilities include:
- Setting up workstation hardware (desktop and laptop) and installing and configuring standard software solutions.
- Troubleshooting issues with MS Windows and Apple MAC OS based computers, office printers, Exchange email accounts, Internet browsers, network file storage, file permissions, network connectivity, and other on-site computer support duties.
- Recommend and install appropriate hardware upgrades and perform repairs on laptops and desktop windows computers.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart phones.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot networked office printers.
- Provide on-site support for general hardware, software, wireless network and wired network problems on desktop computers.
- Respond to and resolve, in a timely fashion, assigned work orders and provide computer users help desk phone support as needed.
- This position will make day-to-day decisions for specific customer desktop support situations as encountered while on-site at the various company facilities.
- This position is required to follow the IT Services protocols and standards to provide users with excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Basic experience troubleshooting MS Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 Operating Systems in a MS Domain Networked Environment.
- Experience using remote computer access tools and maintenance software.
- Basic troubleshooting experience working with LAN and WAN networks.
- Basic understanding of and experience of an MS Active Directory environment.
- CompTIA A+ and / or Network+ Certifications would be a plus.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
