Creative Plastics (CP) is seeking an estimator to join our costing department.

Responsibilities

• Costing/estimating of the labor, materials and packaging required to produce a job.
• Conducting time studies and maintaining time study database.
• Determining the most effective yield for materials being utilized.
• Evaluating alternative manufacturing methods, material options and vendors for the items being estimated.
• Maintaining costing database (material cost, parts cost, time studies, etc.

Requirements

• Must be able to read Bills of Materials and engineering drawings for displays and fixtures made primarily of metal and wood.
• Experienced high level user of MS Excel.
• Strong mechanical, analytical and math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi task effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Strong focus toward attention to detail and accuracy.
